Whisper Freedom tells the story of Elena Ivanova, a Soviet stage star in Moscow 1972 who is desperately trying to conceal her Jewish identity. She unwittingly becomes embroiled in this world of Jewish activists, who are struggling to receive exit visas to leave the USSR, and consequently finds herself in the tentacles of the KGB. Elena is framed and sent to the Gulag, where she must use her theatrical charisma to survive and save other Jews before she is crushed by the Iron Fist.
